The SOLABS GxP system (server-end) can be deployed on a single server. This server includes an operating system e.g., Windows 2000/2003 or Linux, SOLABS’ application server (business-tier) and a database engine. The database can also reside on a different server.
SOLABS GxP can function with different SQL-standard database engines to store data and documents e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, etc. The database itself can be used to store documents in a stand-alone configuration, or documents can be transferred into a corporate content manager upon their approval.
SOLABS GxP supports clustering for maximum performance and Web services for easy interoperability with enterprise systems.
SOLABS provides customers with the data dictionary of the system’s database so they are able to extract reports that otherwise would not be available in the system’s standard reports.
